This blog is intended for publicing my thoughts on various subject within webdevelopment, especially PHP programming. The main issue discussed here so far is security.
My first guide here was regarding password hashing. If There’s enough people who seem interested in my guides i will publish more. The next planned guide will probably be about how to create an entire login system using the methods already descriped here (hashing and cookie safety).
Your question now is probably: “what makes you qualified to give me advice?”
Answer: Well, i’ve passed basic programming on top of my class (mostly C++ and PHP). I’ve regularly programmed PHP, HTML and CSS since autum 2004 and been involved in several bigger solo projects – some for commercial reasons and some just for the fun of it. And in addition to that: i simply like programming:)
